      Principle, drive your rail network
    - Driving from a computer under Windows /98/NT/2000/ME/XP/VISTA.
    - Operate with all rail network Z to G scale, including the 3 rails AC/DC.
    - No decoder in the locomotives!
    - Wiring simplified and always the same, independent of the tracing of the tracks.
    - Automatic Block in all modes of drivings.
    - Trains running in two directions.
    - Realist slow speed by the use of the pulsed current, and 158 steps (instead 28 for DCC).
    - Design of the rail network on the screen of the computer (Control Panel).
    - Follow-up in real time of the displacement of the trains, of the position of the switches on the Control Panel.
    - Driving the trains from the computer and/or physical control panel.
    - Only machine, complete train, double traction, locomotive in shoot, locomotive in head and in tail !
    - You can simulate driving on computer
    - Built-in management of signaling in physics and on the control panel (SNCF and DB, most in futur)
    - No limit to the size of the rail network, to the number of locomotives, to the number of the signals or accessory...
    - Complete: software, supplies, boxes, modules for sections, switches, signals, accessories.
    - Operate with all types of switch motors and all marks
    - Constant lighting of the trains same at halt in option (HF lighting)
    - Material compliant to US/CE norm

    Driving Railway is composed of the software (several versions according to the size of the rail network), one or several supplies (different available powers, and in option the supply for the HF constant lighting), one or several boxes (different sizes) panachables that permits to install the electronic modules: sections (portions of track), switches, signals, accessories...

    The system is connected to the computer through the intermediary of the RS232 serial port (in standard on all PC, not need to open the computer, also operate on laptop). The modules are connected together by a link bus. Its length can do until 50 m (2000") (with the Extbus). It's included in the boxes, and these last are connected together by a cable bus with DIN connectors (cable provided from the BOI12 box). It is possible to connect until 128 modules on a same bus, and Driving Railway (version +) can manage until 8 buses, either 1024 modules!

    The rail network is cut in sections (portions of track, frequently delimited by the end of the zones of switches). At the minimum, it is necessary to manage sections and switches (simple, triple switches, crossings, slip, double slip, rotating bridge). It is possible to equip a part of the rail network only. Driving Railway knows how to manage the passage of one to the other. The system is Plug and Play, that is say that it recognizes the electronic modules plugged in the system automatically. In more of signaling, it knows how to manage accessories like the railway crossings, lamps, random lighting in the houses, steam generators...

      Software
    The software is the core of the system. It allow to draw his rail network schematically with the design mode on the control panel window (optic control picture). This action permits to see the progression of the trains, the position of the switches during the driving, and especially, the system 'understand' the rail network, and can thus manage it (for example, know what is the next section according to the position of the switches, know the direction on the next section, permits to manage the return loops, the passage of the trains in the wrong way on the double tracks in station for example). In more of the sections and switches, it is possible to place on the control panel windows, signals, text, buttons (you choose the action freely), accessories. The drawing of the rail network is very simple. You must click with the mouse while indicating the type of device and his orientation. The complementary informations can be specified subsequently. Once the drawing done, it computes all alone the links (allows to know what is the next one), and most necessary information to the working of the rail network.

    Many parameters permit to personalize the working of the rail network to its own passions. For example, for a section, in more of the type (to manage the sections two ways or one way...), you can specify a maximum speed, the mode of activation of the constant lighting, the type of locomotive capable to circulate in automatic fashion, the era (permits to achieve a hidden station with tracks dedicated at eras). For the switches, you specify the position by default. You even can for every position of the switch, indicate a maximum speed. The software can also manage the control of the physical position of a switch, and even for some models, if you change the switch physically, it will also change on the control panel of the computer!

    You also manage accessories (standard and extended) while indicating under what conditions they are activated (presence of a train on a section, running direction, type of locomotive, delay ...). You can activate a railway crossing for example very easily. You can also manage the blinking red light while using a normal bulb (or led), and only an output of a MOOUT module. The extended accessories permit to manage a step-by-step or linear motor for example (with a MOCAN), an LCD display that would indicate the speed of a train... The external control panel permets to setup button and LED available on a physical control panel (not necessary).You indicate the action to achieve while pushing on button (for example, to change a switch, to activate a route...). It is possible to have several control panel for the same rail network. It is also possible to drive a train manually with a physical cursor (to see PUPREG for example). In complement, the events permit to achieve some actions (to change a switch position, to change the mode of working) according to some conditions as in the case of accessories. At last, the buttons permit to launch an action directly while clicking over with the mouse. They are positioned on the control panel, and can achieve a multitude of actions.

    The courses permit to specify in only one time the position of several switches. These courses can be selected then by event, by physical buttons on the control panel or by buttons placed on the window control panel with the mouse. Driving Railway integrates the management of the sound while using the sound card of the PC. It can play the WAV files sounds. The sounds can be of the sounds of horn, announcements in station, or other noises... They can be activated by the horn button on the control panel of driving, by event or by button (on the control panel or physical).

    The software managed in standard the luminous signaling according to the SNCF principle (French) and DB (German) (more in futur). You indicate the type of the signal (until the recall of slowing with 8 lamps for the SNCF). Automatically the signal is managed according to the tracing, the position of the switches and the presence of the trains with a simplified wiring. You can even modify at all times the tracing or the type of signal !

    Now, you can run the simulation of the rail network. You don't need the material, and your rail network cannot even exist ! It achieves a control, and indicates you the possible mistake list. You can drive the locomotives then virtually on your rail network. You have access to all possibilities of the software (note: the version of demonstration is limited to 4 machines in simultaneous driving) (see driving).

    The wiring is very simple, because always identical. For example 4 wires are sufficient for a section two way. Two cables are necessary (more a common cable) for a double coils switch. The wiring being ended (an educational software is joined), you can achieve the end of the setup (you indicate address of the module, and possibly the numbers of outputs where are plugged the cables) and run the tests. Indeed, the software includes many tests in order to permit you to detect all mistake very quickly.

    You can now pilot your rail network. You can manage your trains since the screen of your computer (or of physical control panel if you have one). Every locomotive or train is created with his own parameters of speed, inertia or control for the automatic mode (type of transportation, type of locomotive, era...). You can manage 65536 different trains. The first time that a locomotive is put in place on the rail network, you choose in the list the adequate model and it's all. Then, whatever is the course that the loco takes, and whatever is its mode of driving, his parameters will follow it everywhere, and you will know permanently where it is located while looking at the control panel (every locomotive has its own color, and a window contains the list of all trains in driving while indicating the number of the section, its direction and its speed). Every train has its own speed, and responds with its own inertia. You can pilot every locomotive independently, and this in four principal modes. A list of the types of pilot permits you to personalize the working of the driving while adapting it to your own needs, and to your configuration.

    - Manual: the train is driven then manually. You drive your train. You can pilot it by a small window on the window control panel use a small cursor, or since a physical control panel. Several modes are available whith choice of the type (speed only, speed and brake...), if the train starts again automatically in case of stop by the block, the action of buttons...

    - Automatic: the train is taken then in charge entirely by the computer. The software drives the train while stopping it, while changing the switches, and its direction in a random way, while using the setup of the sections and locomotives.

    - Route: the train executes a course that you defined before while indicating the list of the numbers of sections, and if the train must do a stop. You can even indicate some timetables, and a normal length of course to manage the delay or the advance of the train on the timetable. The clock can be accelerated with a period of one day that can vary from 10 min. at 24 hours.

    - Tape recorder: the train restarts a course that has been done in manual, and it reproduces all movements of speed, stop, change of switch with a resynchronisation to every passage of section. It is thus possible to stop the trains very precisely before arriving on the zone of stop,

    Evidently, whatever is the mode of driving, the block always guarantees the security and this in the two directions. At the same time, you can have the trains that function according to the different modes. It is possible to print the control panel, and the list of the different objects. Driving Railway exists below in 4 detailed versions in the blackboard. It is possible (see price list) to migrate toward a superior version. The possibilities of Driving Railway are huge, and cannot be all described in detail. You can consult the manual (DRMAN) for more information..

      Supplies
    The indispensable supply permits to provide the current for traction, and for electronics. It connects on the boxes. Different powers are available (according to the number of trains having to circulate at the same time, and the size of the rail network). It is necessary to count about 100 watts for about twenty sections. This supply can also provide the current for the accessory supplies included in the boxes (OPAIG and OPAIGACC). Some models include a supply for the constant lighting (HF) of the trains. This supply is indispensable for the modules sections equipped with HF. A model also permits to install the serial module provided with the software. This supply is recommended for the modular rail network. It is possible to connect several boxes to the same supply. You can use the adaptator 3 connectors (PWRBOX), and the cables of supply of 2m (78") (DINPWR2) or 5m (197") (DINPWR5). Available in 110/120v ou 230/240v.

      Boxes
    The box permits to put the electronic modules that manage the sections, switches, signals... Different models exist according to the number of modules that it is possible to install. It is possible to mix all types of boxes. The boxes are joined between them by the bus (cable provided of 2m, and connectors present from the BOI12, exist in cable of 5 m (DIN)). For the BOIMO boxes and BOIMO6, it must to foresee the cable (CABLE) for the bus and the supply. The connectors for these boxes are connectors DIN 5br (FICHEDIN). Some boxes are provided non pierced, others with round holes for the passage of the cables toward the rail network. Finally the last models are provided with SUBD connectors 25br males, female and hoods, in order to achieve a removable branching (by soldering).

    It is possible to install a supply for the switches (OPAIG) and a supply for the switches and accessories (OPAIGACC) in the boxes. The supply delivers a tension chosen between 8 and 18 v under 2.5A for switches, and 12 v under 2.5 A for accessories. This option can be placed in some boxes (from the BOI12).

    If the total number of modules to manage on the same bus is superior to 40, or if the lengths of cables are superior to 25 m (1000"), it is necessary to put an amplifier of bus in place (EXTBUS) that connects between the boxes (only one by bus). It is supplied by the boxes (BOI12 and more) or by a non inclusive external supply.

      Section module (track)
    The section module permits to manage the tracks. It is indispensable. It provides and stabilize the supply in running traction (pulse current to 90 HZ with variable cyclic ratio). It is protected and detect the short circuit. It achieves the inversion of the march direction (except section one way). It also achieves the detection of the train (sensitivity: 10 ko). Different models exist according to the scale, detection type. 4 categories of modules exist. The standard modules for the scales of the Z to the O in 2 DC rails, with the cut for the stop zone on the negative rail (left in the march direction). The modules Rail + for the scales of the Z to the O in 2 DC rails but with the cut for the stop zone on the positive rail (right in the march direction). The modules for the HO in 3 AC/DC rails. And finally, the modules for the G scale (or LGB).

    Some sections exist for the two directions and sections for only one direction. The without stop section module manage the complex zones of switches (most of the time, the switch is joined to the module section situated to its tip). The modules that permit to commute the constant lighting also exist. In this case, it is necessary to put a capacitor in place in serial with the bulb in the car (CONDO). It is possible to mix these different types of modules on a same rail network.

      Module 8 outputs (switches, signals, accessories)
    This module integrates 8 outputs capable to be controled separately, in fixed mode, pulse or blinking. Two models exist according to the power to commute. MOOUT permits to commute an maximum intensity of 350 ma under 24v DC, and 500 ma in pulse. MOPUI permits to commute a maximum current of 1.5 A under 40v DC, and of 3 A in pulse. The modules 8 outputs are versatile. They permit to manage the switches, signals, accessories (lamps, various animation motors...). The modules don't integrate a supply. You must use a supply (in DC only) to supply them. You can use our especially studied supply for this use (OPAIG and OPAIGACC). Accessories (or switch) connect on one hand on the + of the accessory supply, and on the other hand on one terminals of the module 8 outputs (screw terminal).

    A certain number of extensions permits to complete the modules 8 outputs.

      * DIOPUI
    It is a set of diodes 1N4004 that must be put in place in parallel on every coil of the switch motor to the nearest (obligatory, otherwise risk of destruction of the module, and non respect of the CE norm).
      * EXTLENT2/4/6/8
    This extension permits to connect slow motors (2, 4, 6 or 8) to a module 8 outputs (MOOUT). It built-in the inversion of the march direction. It connects to the module 8 outputs, to the slow motors, and to the supply (12v). It is installed on the rail network. It is equipped with screw terminal.
      * EXTINV
    This extension permits to connect a luminous signal equipped with LED with the ground common. If the luminous signal is equipped with bulbs, or LED with the common on +, the signal is connected directly on the MOOUT module (with resistances in case of LED). It exists in version with screw terminal (EXTINV) .
      * EXTLGB
    This extention permits to manage 4 LGBS switches on a module 8 outputs standard. It is equipped with screw terminal, and require a supply of 12 volts for the extension and a symmetrical DC supply of 15v for the switches.
      Module CONTROL PANEL and various

        * MOCLA: Keyboard
    This module permits to manage a keyboard to realize a physical control panel with push button, switches. A module can manage until 56 maximum keys by module. The software permits to choose the action to realize for each button. The module uses the multiplexage (line and column as in a blackboard) to use 15 wires only. It is necessary to place in series with every push button a diode 1N4148 (DIODE). The keyboard module is also used to return the optional information of switches position. Note: in extended accessory, the keyboard module permits to enter a number on a numeric keypad (useful for pilot's creation since the physical control panel).
        * MOAFF: Display
    The module display permits to pilot some LEDS (maxi 32 by module) to display some information on the control panel. It also uses the multiplexage. A complementary accessory (CLOCK) permits to display the accelerated hour of the clock on a physical display (hours and minutes).
        * MOREG: Speed control
    The speed control module permits to create physical pilots to drive a train manually. A MOREG permits to manage until 4 potentiometers. It permits to manage 1 at 4 trains according to the type of pilot wished (4 for only speed, 2 for speed & brake and 1 for speed, brake and inertia). The module is not provided with potentiometer and switches (see POTREG). We can also provide complete control panels ready to use, already including the MOREG module. Two models exist. The first BOIREG/PUPREG permits to connect four speed control panels with a cable of 3m50 (138").

    . Another extension, the EXTJAR permits for the garden trains, to return the temperature and the humidity in order to be able to modify the speeds according to these parameters.

        * MOPAPBIP: Control step-by-step motor
    This module permits to pilot a bipolar step-by-step motor (2 to 24 v DC, under 3A maxi). It is possible to connect different types of motors (4 wires) . Since the software, it is possible (under extended accessories) to choose the speed rotation, the direction, and the number of step to achieve (the motor can function for a certain number of pulses, or permanently while specifying with precision its speed).
        * MOLCD: Control of a display LCD text
    This module permits to send some informations (speed of train, itinerary in progress...) on a LCD display capable to contain 1 line of 8 characters to 4 lines of 20 characters. We propose an intermediate display of 2 lines of 16 characters (LCD2_16). We can provide you other models of displays on demand.
